Little Miss Charlie's Parties

A 7th Birthday Pamper Party

Miss Charlie turned 7 earlier this month and we celebrated with a Pamper Party for her and some of her friends. The colour scheme was pink, purple and silver and I had so much fun putting it all together and decorating our living room as a day spa.

Each party guest had a headband, necklace and ring waiting for them on their seats in the ‘spa’. The girls had lots of fun putting on the jewellery when they first arrived. We had two wonderful party hosts from Amazing Kids Parties who spoiled the girls with foot spas, face masks (with cucumber rounds for the eyes, of course!) and nail polish. There were also party games including musical statues and limbo, which were a great way for the girls to work off some energy in between the pampering. After some light make up was applied the girls dressed up with some fun props and had a fashion parade to finish off the party.

The party was in the afternoon so I provided a snack / dessert table for everyone to help themselves to throughout the party. There were cupcakes, chocolate dipped marshmallows, chocolate crackles, cookies, fairy bread, fruit and jelly cups. The jelly cups are always a favourite and I love to match the colours to the party theme, which looks great on the table. This time used grape (purple) and creaming soda (pink) flavours. To drink I offered water pop tops or milk with assorted flavoured straws.

Charlotte had a birthday cake on her actual birthday a few days prior, so for the party I decided to make a donut tower instead of another cake. The birthday girl loves donuts (see her 5th Birthday party here!) and it was super easy to serve each guest a donut after the candles were blown out. There was a mix of iced chocolate and cinnamon donuts and I used a three tier clear acrylic cake stand to stack them. I tucked little nail polish embellishments, gem rings and flowers in here and there to match the theme and finished it off with candles and a glittery pink cake topper I made.

Each party guest went home with a party bag with a lipstick shaped pen, a notebook, a lipstick shaped eraser, a glittery hair clip, a lip balm and a few treats to enjoy later.
