Meet Bingo our pet reindeer (named by Miss Charlie who is 6 years old)!
The reindeer head is from Kmart ($25.00), I loved it as soon as I saw it but I didn’t want it to look like an animal hunting trophy up on the wall, a quick search in Pinterest and I was inspired to create a stable for him.
For the background I used one side of a cardboard delivery box which I painted black on the top and used the Kmart woodgrain adhesive vinyl ($3.00) for the bottom half. The white border is some old corflute I had leftover from another project which I cut into strips and glued into place.
Bingo sings Christmas songs (his mouth even moves in time!) and the coloured lights on his antlers light up when you press his ear.
Miss Charlie decided he needed some food so we used some felt fruit and vegies from her play kitchen and borrowed some hay from our guinea pigs.
Our pet reindeer is super cute and gets lots of pats as everyone walks by!
